    I did the Fundamentals course with a great group, and the coaches there really gave each of us individual time and attention. That was a couple of months ago now. I’ve been going 3 or 4 times a week since then. I’ve done plenty of CrossFit workouts before this and wasn’t sure exactly what to expect joining a gym, but it’s been very beneficial. We’ve found a lot of weaknesses in my mobility and form that I never would’ve found or corrected on my own. I feel stronger and more comfortable every week.

    I’m still a newbie at this whole CrossFit thing, but I already love it. I still have a lot to learn in the regular classes, but the Fundamentals course was EXACTLY what I needed to get back into the game of fitness!

    After recovering from foot reconstruction surgery, I struggled to find a good way back into fitness. Previously a runner, I knew I needed some intense mobility/strength work. I visited Full Steam simply because it’s located just minutes away from my work. I had no idea that I would find something so beneficial to me and my fitness journey!

    The Fundamentals Course with Jordan was a perfect way for me to gain confidence back in a fitness routine while really working on some elements of basic fitness for better form and technique and learning new techniques for weightlifting (something I had not previously tried). When I joined the regular CrossFit classes, I felt fully prepared to jump in and work!

    I’ve had the pleasure of training under Jordan – who is an amazing coach and teacher. I would recommend Full Steam to anyone – someone who knows their place in fitness, someone who is struggling to find their place, and someone who is brand new to fitness. There’s a place for everyone at Full Steam!

    I cannot wait to see what the next few months and years bring as I learn more, become a stronger person, and continue to make awesome friendships with amazing people with amazing fitness goals!

    First of all, know this: not all CrossFit boxes are created equal! Full Steam CrossFit is the BEST! Okay, obviously, I’m biased. BUT, if you’ve tried CrossFit somewhere else and they threw you into a regular class expecting you to do 75 burpees the first day (when you don’t even know what a “burpee” is to begin with), don’t think that CrossFit is not for you! You’re just at the wrong place.

    For your health and longevity, lifting/moving heavy objects SHOULD be your goal – doing it properly, of course! And that’s what you’ll get at Full Steam: demonstrated care for each and every client, which includes individualized progressions and scaling options based on strength and flexibility. I am 55 years old, and I am stronger than I ever thought I could be because of the expertise and support I get from Jordan, et al, at Full Steam CrossFit.
