I’ve been crossfitting for about 6-7 years, not including the few years of college sports and USAW. Now I’m even more recreational than I was before. That being said, I can’t say enough great things about this gym.
After taking some time away and moving, I was in search of a gym that held grass-root values, and solid foundational programming. Two things that are hard to find under one roof. It’s only been 2-3 weeks (maybe) and I feel the same excitement for CrossFit and lifting, as I did when I first started years ago.
The end… aka “beginning.”

I have only been with Full Steam for about a month. Coming into a CrossFit gym without ever doing that style lifting can be quite nerve racking. However, I instantly felt at home. I have nothing but good things to say about this community and gym. I say community because I think that is one of the values I can appreciate the most about Full Steam CrossFit. From day 1 the coaches and members make it a point to know who you are.
The Coaches are hands down some of the best people I have had in my corner, for anything. Each of them are highly skilled and knowledgeable of their craft. You can tell that these coaches really take ownership in what they know. All of them have their own styles, but each of them know how to identify and fix things that you aren’t able to see. I have almost instant results from each interaction with them. They will help you get to the goals that you want to achieve if you are willing to put the work in.
I look forward to seeing how far I can go on my fitness journey with Full Steam CrossFit. Thank you to Jordan and the team for everything you do.

As a 10+ year veteran of Crossfit, I’ve been with many great community boxes, which btw is the greatest part of Crossfit. But… it has been a long time that I have been around a great Coaching Staff – until five months ago. Jordan is leading a team that provides consistency across the board, no matter what class your make it to. My technique is improving every week. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m happy about my progress. Thanks Jordan, Mike, Kristin, Jon, and Ana – I feel better at 53 than at 43!! If you want to get better, stronger, and (safer) fewer injuries, come to Full Steam! This Coaching Staff is not messing around about delivering results! Fun to workout with good people too!

I’ve been attending Full steam CrossFit for 5yrs and it has changed my life. The coaches are so wonderful. I have not only a family here but also an accountability team. This is so much more than just a CrossFit gym. They care about nutrition, health, and what is going on personally with each one of us. I couldn’t imagine being a part of any other gym!

When I heard the gym was temporarily closing due to COVID-19, I was less than thrilled. Going from these intense classes that used lots of weights and equipment to my teeny apartment where I had one dumbbell (that I borrowed from the gym) was not something I was looking forward to. I figured it would just be lots of cardio and core – not exciting. Well, let me be the first to admit – I was wrong! This past week of home workouts and virtual classes has far exceeded my expectations. I am loving the creativity of Jordan and the team, as they create these varied workouts each day that are based on little to no equipment – or just random objects you find around the house. It is keeping me moving and fit (even if I am eating all my quarantine snacks)!

We are located right off the Highway, where 153 and Lee Highway. cross. We are across the street from Sportsman's Warehouse in the R and R Plaza. When you first enter the R and R Plaza (Same plaza that has the Army/Navy Recruiting center) we are on the left between the Medical Supply Store and Integrity Staffing. Look at the side of the building!

Coach Jonathan graduated with his B.S. in Exercise science from UTC in 2018. He’s been doing CrossFit since 2015 and coached over 5,000 hours. Helping members reach their fitness goals and discover new skills is why he loves coaching.
